Artist's Description
I finally connected a vintage macro lens (from the 1970-1980's) to my new Nikon mirrorless camera, using an inexpensive adapter, in order to shoot his close up photograph. The object is an ancient artifact, I believe, used as a hand implement.

Nice minimalist shot Phil. The macro lens has picked up plenty of detail. I did the same thing when I bought my mirrorless camera, I bought an adaptor to enable me to connect some of the lenses that I had for my previous camera. I put it away and forgot about it, only found it yesterday when looking for something else. I must give it a go, I have a terrific 100mm macro lens that I used to love using. fav
