Located near Caryville, Tennessee, Bruce Creek was relocated many decades ago to accommodate the I-75 interstate highway. Massive amounts of mountain rock was drilled and blasted during this process, creating a space for what is now known as Triple Falls.

I've never heard of a creek being relocated. So was this waterfall man-made? Or did the water just happen to find its way over these rocks? Either way, it's a beautiful scene that you've captured Phil! L/F
Phil Perkins replied:
Thanks Linda ~ yes, the creek was redirected/moved so that I-75 could be constructed. These steps where the creek formed a waterfall were carved/blasted away - manmade.
