Description

Following a hike at Benton Falls, I later found Ocoee Dam No. 2 - a hydroelectric dam along the Ocoee River, in Polk County, Tennessee. At an adjacent park, Sugarloaf Mountain Park, I learned that the stone to construct the dam had been quarried from a hillside across the river, with the structural remnants of a railway bridge still intact.
