I took this photograph in 2006 of our cat, Nefthus, who would frequency follow the sun around the house throughout the day, basking in its warmth. This particular scene from the office includes a desk (left), the shadow of venetian blinds (cast from right to left), a second set of taller venetian blinds (foreground, used as a room divider), and Nefthus, sporting a recent hair cut. I thought that positioning the camera at an angle would serve to add interest, as well as changing the picture to black and white.
