Iron Ore Dock Interior metal print by Phil Perkins. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
Here’s my rendition of the inside of an iron ore dock located in the downtown harbor of Marquette, Michigan. Based on an analog photograph from the 1970’s, this interior chamber has a length of approximately 500 feet, with a ceiling height of 60 feet. The octagon shaped pools of water stretched from end to end, serving as structural buffers to displace strong waves during storms, and, during sunny days, casting refracting light through the water as colorful reflections across the pillars and ceiling. This is the second version I’ve designed, this time looking back in the opposite direction.
