This small bear club was photographed climbing a tall pine tree along the Foothills Parkway, in the Smoky Mountains near Wears Valley, Tennessee. If you look closely near the top-right of that tree, you can see a sibling cub perched among the branches.

This brings back memories from a long time ago! When I was a small child sometime in the late forties or early fifties, one weekend my dad took us to the Smokies and I saw my first bear cub up in a tree. That is among my earliest memories as a child. Thanks for the memory!
